Sophia is so passionate about leadership development she created the popular leadership development models Leadership, Ownership and Accountability and The Leader’s Bucket. Her niche is helping executive and senior-level leaders to use their true essence to create breakthroughs and move their teams and organizations to new heights.
Sophia is committed to life-long learning as evidenced by her more than 25 years in the learning and education field. Sophia is equally passionate about personal and professional development. In her role as faculty for the Academy of Creative Coaching, a coach training program, Sophia works with corporations to create internal coaching and training programs to drive results. Sophia is also a coach training program instructor and mentors professional coaches around the world toward building sustainable coaching practices.
Sophia received her education at UCLA and Johns Hopkins and is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated. Her big hearted playful connection coupled with her “no limits” coaching approach led to her authoring the eBook K.I.M. – Keep It Movin’, 10 Steps to Let Go and Fly which was featured on Fox News, WEAA, and ABlazin Radio. Her proudest work is her upcoming book Fierce Vulnerability: A Colored Girl’s Truth, Trials, and Triumphs – a tell-it-like-it-is story of four powerful African-American women who learn the value of balancing boldness and vulnerability. She has been featured in Success magazine, the WV State Journal, and interviewed on several radio program including SiriusXM, WHUR, WRNR and WSRadio.
Sophia’s joys are traveling with her husband, spending time learning from her son and fundraising to help eradicate breast cancer and eliminate hunger.

Sophia Casey is an international award-winning speaker, Professional Certified Coach (PCC), and former leader of several Federal government organizations and private sector companies. She is a woman with a commitment to serve and to support others in being leaders of their lives. Her larger than life personality and novel approach to dealing with fear was highlighted in SUCCESS magazine and at SUCCESS Live.
“Coach Casey” as she is affectionately called, is the founder of Sophia Casey Enterprises, an executive coaching and leadership development training company. Her work as Director of First Impressions for former Vice President Al Gore’s NPR Task Force and head of training organizations in the Federal government afforded her opportunities to support senior executives in strengthening their core competencies.
Sarah Cary is an inspirational speaker and former U.S. Diplomat. She has lived and worked in France, Jamaica, and India and served under the President Obama administration before returning to the U.S. in 2014.
After discovering coaching during a quarter-life crisis of her own, she now pays it forward with a calling to share her personal story and life lessons to inspire others.
Sarah also sings and produced an EP while living on assignment in Jamaica. Her music and interview was featured across the island live on LOVE101 FM.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Lee University and is a graduate of many leadership and entrepreneur programs and is very active in the online coaching community.
Sarah enjoys international travel and has a heart for female equality and empowerment sparked further from living overseas.
